Flight 93 Memorial

by Kim
(PA)

We recently went there for the first time. Once we got on the walkway leading up to the field where the plane went down, both my companion and I experienced chills and a sense of becoming choked up. I've never experienced that before, it was a very powerful, moving and emotional experience.

Once you walk up the walkway, you come to a fence. 15 feet to your left is where the plane went down. It was overwhelming and sad to be there.

There is an actual memorial that is built. You'll be able to walk to it from this temporary memorial. It is to list the names of the heroes on the plane and will open 9-11-11.

May God bless the heroes on Flight 93.
