Gettysburg National Military Park

We love going to Gettysburg to visit the Park. There is so much history there. You almost feel like you are back in the battle days with a certain presence that comes over you when you drive through or walk through the field.

The memorials and monuments are a must read to get a good feel for the people who fought and lost their lives in this war.

You should also head to the American Civil War wax museum for excellent displays and information on the war. You can see the Gettysburg battle recreated and hear Abraham Lincoln deliver his speech. You feel like you are actually there when he gave his speech.

Once you are done with the tours, Gettysburg has many shops and places to eat. Those who love haunted places will find a few Gettysburg hotels with that reputation.
