State parks located in the PA Mountains region of northeastern Pennsylvania offer fun for the entire family.
Most PA mountains parks are open from late May to Labor Day in September with some open during the winter.
The summer months offer the most to do at the parks.

Archbald Pothole State Park

Big Pocono State Park
In Monroe County PA on Camelback Mountain. Open spring to December. Park entrance - PA 715 and Exit 299 of I80 at Tannersville.
Enjoy scenic views on the 1+ mile paved road drive which encircles the mountaintop. Use caution on other roads as there are steep grades.

In Susquehanna County PA 7 miles N of Montrose PA in the PA Mountains. PA 29 N 6 miles to Franklin Forks. Left onto Silver Creek Road for 1 mile to park entrance.
