State parks located in the PA Mountains region of northeastern Pennsylvania offer fun for the entire family.
Most PA mountains parks are open from late May to Labor Day in September with some open during the winter.
The summer months offer the most to do at the parks.
Get out and enjoy the PA air and sun.
You can go swimming, hike on one of the trails, enjoy a family picnic together, play volleyball or frisbee or go out on the boat.

Archbald Pothole State Park

This PA mountains park features a 15,000 year old, 38 foot deep pothole. Open April to November.

Enjoy scenic views on the 1+ mile paved road drive which encircles the mountaintop. Use caution on other roads as there are steep grades.
