Pennsylvania Amusement Parks and Zoological Parks

Visit one of the Pennsylvania amusement parks, outdoor or indoor water parks or zoos on a Pennsylvania vacation. We've been to all of the zoos and many of the amusement and water parks in PA.

Amusement parks in PA offer roller coasters, ferris wheels, miniature golf, go karts, live shows, lunch with a favorite Sesame Street character and more.

You'll find parks located throughout Pennsylvania.

They're a nice place to head to for a day trip when you come to the state.

You'll find a variety of kiddie rides and rides for older kids and adults in the parks.

Some parks offer shows and other entertainment throughout the season.

We love to head out in the summer and watch a show, first stopping to grab some pizza at our favorite park restaurant. While there is seating for shows, we always bring our own folding chairs. Be sure to get there early to get a good seat!

On your visit to one of PA's amusement parks enjoy the tasty treats at food concession stands or in park restaurants.

Some parks offer season passes and an opportunity to purchase your tickets online in advance. These often offer savings, so check with the park to be sure.

During the fall months of September and October, some parks have crafts fairs where you can get nice crafts, eat some good food, and enjoy the last days of nice weather. We love to browse for Christmas gifts at these fairs.

Pennsylvania zoos offer endangered and rare animals to all North American animals.

Some have petting zoos for the kids to get up close with the animals. Some zoos let you feed the animals while others do not.

Kids will love the animals which include kangaroos, monkeys, bears, tigers, lions, penguins and a lot more!

The PA waterparks offer summer fun for kids or the entire family.

Enjoy the tubes, slides, play areas, tipping buckets and more on a visit and cool off as well!

Some of these parks let you buy a pass so the kids can ride the rides and also go on the waterslides.

PA welcomes you to visit their parks and zoos while you're on vacation or just need a day away to spend with your family and kids.
