Elias Baker (an ironmaster) and his wife and children moved into the mansion in 1849 at its completion. The architecture is Greek Revival.

Items on display include memorabilia from the Civil War, WWI and WWII, furnishings, railroad memorabilia and other artifacts.

These beautiful limestone rock formations offer stately beauty in the county seat of Blair County.

The 120 perches offered Indian tribes the ability to view the surrounding area high atop the rocks.

There are picnic tables, pavilions, a lower lookout, and a lookout atop the rocks which you get to by climbing a trail that takes you to the top.

Horseshoe Curve

At this National Historic Landmark, ride the incline or walk up to the railroad tracks and observation deck for a great view of the mountains and the Curve.

The Curve allowed for train access through the very steep mountains when it opened in 1854.

The Visitor's Center offers historic information and a gift shop. There are places for a picnic lunch.

You'll love the stunning mid-eastern architecture inside the building.

It hosts civic events, concerts, banquets, and trade shows.

Also, sports, home and garden, and outdoor shows are held here throughout the year.

They host both indoor and outdoor events. The circus is held here every year in April along with a Pennsylvania International Beauty Pageant.
