The Regions

In the Laurel Highlands Region, you'll find Bedford Springs Resort, Blue Knob Resort, Hidden Valley Resort, Seven Springs Resort and Toftrees Resort.

We've stayed at all of these resorts and can recommend each one, all four seasons of the year. Our favorite resorts for skiing are Blue Knob and Seven Springs.

Pittsburgh/Erie Region resorts include Conley Resort, Lakeview on the Lake and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. These are beautiful resorts with lots of indoor and outdoor activities for the entire family.

Pocono Mountain Resorts offers resorts for couples only and for families. The Poconos is great for honeymooners or couples celebrating an anniversary. My husband and I love coming here for a long weekend together. There's great food and lots of outdoor activities. We love hiking!

Southcentral/Southeastern PA resorts include Bear Creek Mountain Resort, Carroll Valley Resort, Heritage Hills Golf Resort, Lancaster Host Resort and Liberty Mountain Resort. This is a really pretty area of the state, and there's lots to see and do here.

Resorts are a good option for couples or families who want to arrive at their vacation destination and stay put.

All activities and meals are available at the resort, so you don't have to worry about traveling off the premises. Of course, you are encouraged to leave your room and take in the beauty of the surrounding area!
